Homage to Crocetti – Ballerina

I have always admired the sculptor Venanzo Crocetti. I have exhibited several times at the Museo Crocetti and had the opportunity to get to know and admire Crocetti’s works. My dream was to create something in my minimalist style as a tribute to Crocetti. Then I saw his ballerina, and that inspired me. His main material was bronze. I kept this and created a ballerina. The sculpture has no corners or edges, no sharp lines. Delicate curves flow over the entire sculpture like a dance. I used highly polished bronze to create an interplay with light and to enable interaction between the sculpture and the viewer, as well as between the sculpture and its environment.
