Inevitable

The subject of this piece is the immobilization of a little girl (me) and the inevitability of the rapist's (my older brother's) strength overwhelming the victim, who tries to fight, but to no avail. He can easily hold both of her wrists in one of his hands. The variegated pink represents her young age and the fleece blanket on her bed. The shadows suggest that his fingers are pushing forcefully, especially on her wrist, which is being pressed so hard the tips of her fingers are red. This also depicts that he has been holding her for a while, toying with her.
