The painting "Lacrimosa" was created after Requiem of W.A.Mozart.

It combines elements of traditional and contemporary techniques of painting, images and ideas of "old masters" (Raphael), street art and the bold, independent spirit of contemporary subcultures (Balenciaga).

The idea of this painting is to express the contradictory nature of our time, when the past literally overlaps the present, when we encounter situations in which tradition comes into direct confrontation with new trends.

This piece is about the transformation and parallel coexistence of often mutually exclusive things. And in the new reality, almost all of us are forced to "bury" something—at least the familiar concept of "normality"—and accept the fact that "things will never be the same again."

This piece is, on the one hand, a "lament" for a bygone era, and on the other, a reflection of the search for a new identity. But a human must always remain a human, regardless of time and circumstances.
