L’Albero della Pace – The Tree of Peace

The work is created on a wooden panel through an incision of the drawing. The incisions allow for natural shadows and lights to be brought to a flat surface, strengthening and enhancing the drawing itself and creating a further textured effect.
Regarding the content, it depicts a large tree with multicolored leaves, drawing on the biblical tradition from Genesis, where the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil are placed in Eden.
A message of peace is increasingly urgent. The leaves are all the same size and represent men and women who, regardless of skin color, have the right to equal dignity.
The work is created in accordance with the Golden Ratio (Divine Proportion).
