Late Autumn Among the Branches of the Fig Tree

The work is created on a wooden panel by engraving the drawing. The engravings allow natural light and shadow to be brought to a flat surface, strengthening and enhancing the drawing itself and creating a further textured effect.
It depicts a fig tree against a clear autumn sky. The branches are now bare and particularly intricate. It is taken from "real life," like all my works belonging to the series I have called "naturaliter" .
