Created entirely without a plan, sketch, or preconceived image, the painting emerged through spontaneous expression. As the composition unfolded, a powerful presence revealed itself—a being suspended between the spiritual and physical realms, engaged in prayer, healing, or the balancing of unseen energy.
The title, Liminal, refers to the threshold between worlds—the place where transformation occurs and where the visible and invisible meet. Sweeping layers of luminous pinks, blues, golds, and earth tones create movement and depth, drawing the viewer into an experience that continues to reveal itself over time.
Every brushstroke was made in the moment. There was no attempt to depict a figure; the image arose naturally from the painting process. Because of that, I believe this work is impossible to recreate. It exists as a singular moment of artistic expression that can never happen in exactly the same way again.
Rather than offering fixed answers, Liminal invites contemplation. Each viewer may encounter something different: a soul in prayer, an energy worker, an angelic presence, or simply the mystery of consciousness itself. The painting becomes a meeting place between the artwork and the viewer's own experience.
