Painting on a wooden stretched canvas.
Having worked as a prison officer I've seen human behaviour which would not been seen in the community. Emblematically and allegorically the figurative imagery offers the viewer the thought that as a society we are like Hansel and Gretel lost in the woods and in peril or perhaps we admire being lost in the woods? Ironically the global political power amplifies this on a macro scale, where the voices of the minority are marginalized. However, the pink bodybuilder in a pose of ecstacy gives rise to the ambiguity of pain or pleasure to governmental compliance. Therefore do we accept our hegemonic state through inducements and false hopes. Our ignorance is challenged by the pose of the pink bodybuilder, the masculinity of patriarchy, and blurs the dynamics, of societal and governmental domination. These experiences have been intimated with expressionistic ambiguous meanings and open psychological interpretations.
