Through several translucent layers that shift and change depending on the color of the light, the artwork depicts a woman forced to change by an imposing external chaos. Her own arms and hands transform into some roots like aprotective armor. In her skin there are hidden words like FEAR, LOSS, HEALING, and REPAIR that mark stages of trauma and recovery. Here, we want to capture the weight of surviving an external threat, contrasted with the triumph of a woman in her own strength.
