Launched in 2020, this series reimagines Eastern mythical beasts through light painting. A pivotal moment occurred during Roy’s time in Dubai’s historic district, where Arabic calligraphy inspired a new artistic dialogue.

This cross-cultural encounter culminated in a key 2024 work, merging Arabic script with mythical symbolism into a borderless visual language. Created through a unique "Freehand" technique—drawn continuously in physical space and captured in a single, unedited exposure—it demonstrates both technical mastery and an intuitive fusion of two artistic traditions, offering a pure and compelling visual experience.
