The artwork originates from the manipulation of a highly reflective metallized polymer laminate, transformed into a fluid and ever-changing surface that exists between painting, sculpture, and object. The folds generated by the material capture, distort, and reflect the surrounding environment, creating a constantly shifting landscape and engaging the viewer in a dynamic perceptual experience. The work explores the relationship between matter, light, and perception, transforming an industrial surface into an organic and unstable form, suspended between technical control and formal spontaneity.
