Sacra Famiglia (Holy Family)

"Sacra Famiglia" is a work that looks at the family in its most human and authentic dimension: not as a perfect place, but as a living space, made of love, fragility, care, and silences that span time.
The sacredness of the family bond lies not in an ideal, but rather in the profound possibility of remaining connected, of mutual influence, of growing together even through wounds. Each figure carries with it traces of what they have received—gestures, fears, shortcomings, imperfect forms of love—and the often silent desire to transform them into something new.
The work reflects on how many dysfunctional behaviors can arise from unresolved pain, unconsciously passed down from generation to generation. Yet, within this complexity, the possibility of an authentic connection continues to exist: a space in which to recognize, accept, and interrupt the continuity of pain.
