This emerged slowly in a quiet yet slightly painful moment. The blue spread like air, some deep, some faint, like emotions spreading within, silent yet ever-present. The flowing traces, the slightly cracked textures, are like the marks left by time stretching memories—incomplete, yet very real. The soft, somewhat blurred shape in the center of the painting, to me, is a gesture of self-protection, as if embracing something, or perhaps hiding from something. The surrounding lines sometimes break, sometimes extend, like the elusive distance between people, sometimes close, sometimes distant.
