The Heart of the Earth – Limited Edition (4/8) is part of the homonymous sculptural collection by Cesare Catania, a project centered on universal archetypes expressed through geometry, matter and human gesture.
The collection develops as a multidisciplinary project including sculpture, digital art and cinema. In 2025–2026, The Heart of the Earth follows a curated exhibition route across Tuscany, involving the Museum of Fortezza Nuova in Livorno, Parco della Versiliana in Pietrasanta, the Isola d’Elba waterfront, and the Florence Biennale.

A digital phygital version of the artwork is currently exhibited at the CICA Museum (South Korea).
The sculpture was also at the core of the socio-cultural project “The Art of the Gesture” in Livorno, where 140 children created personal reinterpretations of the work as part of the Embrace Project, reinforcing its participatory and inclusive vision.
