The most dangerous mirage in the Sahara Desert is Fata Morgana, because it reflects real objects beyond the horizon. In their quest to reach it, illusions die first. We all live in an illusory world, which is beautiful because it exists. Mirages are our dreams, which we strive for, possessed by our illusions, experiencing supreme moments. Illusions are our supreme driving force. This painting was painted after a visit to the Sahara in Tunisia.
