The latest addition of my Greek Mythology series, drawing inspiration from mythology and Old Masters paintings, the lyre was adapted from 'Apollo Teaching Hyacinth to Play Lyra' by Louis de Boullogne the Younger (circa 1688). Architectural and sculptural elements were photographed across Europe, including the pillars and sculpture of Ares at Villa Hadriana in Tivoli, the sphinx and cherub sculpture at Belvedere Palace in Vienna, and the monumental head of Antinous at the Uffizi Gallery. The temple in the background is a self-constructed composition inspired by temples photographed in Agrigento, Sicily, while the sea and mountains combine landscapes from Crete and Sicily.

Created over several years, the work combines approximately 500 layers of photography, hand-painted details, and digital brushwork inspired by classical painting techniques, merging contemporary photography with the atmosphere of classical mythology.
