The Typewriter

"The Typewriter" is a theatrical sculpture made entirely of paper, conceived as a work that merges architecture, scenography, and performance. The work is part of a broader artistic vision that aims to create abstract, geometric, or figurative sculptural installations designed to interact with urban spaces and live performances. It explores the union between portraiture, abstract art, and the reproduction of mechanical or geometric elements through the physical and structural manipulation of the paper sheet. The sculpture is a 45x60x70cm structure made of 300g cotton paper, designed to be worn like a costume. This specific work was born as part of a materials testing and design process. The structures and folding tests are made primarily using the fine Italian Fabriano paper.
