time travel ke Bekok

This piece of artwork was inspired by my time travel to small towns in Malaysia. I love town hopping in my region. It is time coming to stand still in small towns that I am actually travel back in time. A simple pleasure beyond words yet only temporal for a fleeting moment in time. I cherish that moment.
A short afternoon in Bekok aka 彼咯, Malaysia, was enough for me to want to capture on canvas of a old school coffee shop (kopitiam) in this quaint, sleepy, serene town which time comes to a standstill. The folks there were chilling over their old school cuppa aka kopi in a hot lazy afternoon....every afternoon is a lazy one.
