Tree of Life Triptych

The central image of my triptych is the “Tree of Life.” This theme is found in many religions, and in artwork across time. My rendition is based on an ancient near eastern sculpture with ibex eating grapes, on medieval Christian artwork, and on modern interpretations with swirling branches. The panel on the left symbolizes of baptism, and the panel on the right incorporates symbols of the Eucharist.
