In Umbral de la Forma, I explore the human figure as a site of transition, where structure begins to dissolve and reform. Through layered oil techniques and interlocking planes, the body is fragmented yet held in a fragile equilibrium between presence and disappearance.
Color operates as both emotional and spatial force. Luminous teals and warm ochres activate the surface, while deep shadows open a space of suspension. The central form emerges as an axis, anchoring a composition that resists stability.
I am interested in the threshold where identity is not fixed but continually shifting. The figure exists in a state of becoming, inviting the viewer to navigate its fragments and reconstruct meaning. In this suspended moment, form is neither complete nor lost, it is in transformation.
