Adriana Isabel Correa Machado is an Italian‑Venezuelan artist and architect based in Rome. Drawing from her international background in architecture and art history, she has spent the past twelve years exploring watercolor as her primary medium, developing a poetic and contemplative practice rooted in close observation of nature. Her paintings reveal a quiet dialogue between light, botanical forms, and lived spaces, creating intimate atmospheres in which the natural world becomes both subject and emotional landscape.
As an immigrant, Adriana also explores the theme of migration as an intercultural and inter‑species phenomenon. Her first solo exhibition, Llano Dentro (2018), reflects on the Venezuelan plains as a landscape of "desarraigo"—a space where belonging, memory, and displacement intertwine.
