My name is Anne and I am an Irish artist living in County Meath specialising in oil painting. I use blending techniques which creates hidden shadows and I work on shadows to give my work form and depth. I thrive on and lose myself on the magical process of blending oils and watching the painting develop and take shape on the canvas. I completed a portfolio course and got a place in art college but circumstances prevented me from taking the place, and have continued independently painting as it is my true passion and deeply rewarding.
