Cecilia Sjölund is a Swedish painter based in Stockholm. She is an architect educated at Stockholm Royal Institute of Technology 1980. She worked for many years as a project manager with urban developments and now she she is concentration on her artworks. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions like The Summer Exhibition at The Royal Academy of Arts in London and The Spring Salon at The Liljevalchs Museum of Stockholm.
Traditional oil techniques are combined with a contemporary perspective; the compositions tell insightful stories about small intimate everyday moments.
