Hello,
My name is Crystle Kay Daulton.
drawing and painting was the way i escaped the horrific abusive life i lived.Art was my way of expressing myself and my feelings.
As I got older I learned and acquired different styles and techniques.
I watched tattoo artist, the art works of the great artists.
Watching people in my community high on substances paint on trains and bridges.
I am self tought.
Salvador Dolly is hands down my favorite artist.
He wasn't just melting clocks.
His art was a glimpse of the dreaming creative mind.
I have incorporated his influence in alot of my art.
In 2004 I was in a horrific accident.
It left me broken with nerve damage and no feeling in my hands. I couldn't even hold a pencil.
It took me over 10yrs to have most of my mobility and feeling back.
I was able to start doing art again.
It took time and a lot of patience before I saw progress in my art.
With all I have learned through my art journey I have created my own styles.
I am now 40 and was diagnosed with cancer. So I wanted to put my art into the world for others to see.
I just hope my art makes others feel emotion and relate in their own way.
