Dorian is a Royal Society artist whose work explores the psychological depth and narrative potential of portraiture. With over 16 years of professional experience, he has had the privilege of working with distinguished figures from the worlds of culture, entertainment, and sport, including Three-time Oscar nominee Cynthia Erivo MBE, Sir Ian McKellen, Sir Patrick Stewart, Prince Nicholas Medforth-Mills of Romania, Kit Harington, Richard E. Grant, Ray Winstone, and cricket legend Brian Lara.
At the age of 24, Dorian was elected to the Royal Society of Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers (RMS), under the patronage of His Majesty King Charles III, following his receipt of the Gold Memorial Bowl - the most important award in the world for precise painting.
His work has been exhibited at leading institutions and exhibitions including the Royal Scottish Academy, the Wallace Collection, the Mall Galleries, the London Biennale, and Portrait Artist of the Year. His achievements have been recognised by Philip Mould OBE, who awarded him the L. Cornelissen & Son Award at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters.
