Israel, 1979
Haddar Macdasi is a Tel Aviv–based artist working primarily with ink on paper. His practice focuses
on the human figure painted from direct observation, where rapid gestures allow the body to
emerge and dissolve simultaneously. Through reduction, contrast, and expressive mark-making,
the works explore instability, presence, and the perceptual reconstruction of the figure.
