Graduating from West Wales School of the Arts, Jade Butler is an Irish artist whose painting practice examines people’s position within
society, addressing the relationship between inner identity and outward self presentation while engaging with broader social concerns.
Jade is a regular exhibitor of annual exhibitions at the Royal Hibernian Academy, Royal Ulster Academy, Royal Scottish Academy and the
Royal Society of Women Artists, and has exhibited widely in Ireland and the UK.
Her work is included in the collection of The Office of Public Works. She also serves as a member of the Artist Panel at the Butler Gallery.
In 2025 Jade was awarded a place by the RHA on the ART MFA Residency program at Notre Dame Kylemore (University of Notre
Dame). Jade is a recipient of the ArtLinks Bursary 2026 and Creative Communities Award 2026.
