Lisa Tomasetti is a Sydney based photographer. She has exhibited extensively throughout Australia as well as holding solo shows in London, Barcelona and Shanghai. Her work is held in national public and private collections including
The National Portrait Gallery, The National Gallery of Australia, The South Australian Museum, The West Australian Gallery, ArtBank and awarded a number of significant International artist residences and commissions (The National Portrait Gallery, Sydney Theatre Company).
Among her achievements as a visual artist, Tomasetti has been a finalist in many of Australia's prestigious Photographic awards and gold winner in The London Photo Awards,European Photo Prize, Muse International Award, New York Photo Award, The Neutral Density Photo Award, Julia Margaret Cameron Prize, Fine Art International photography awards.
Her work has featured in The National Portrait gallery's touring exhibition "Dancer" and "Starstruck:Australian Movie Portraits".
Parallel to her arts practice, Tomasetti works in the Film industry as a Unit Stills Photographer with credits including "Star Wars-attack of the clones", "Shine", "Charlotte's Web", and has worked as production photographer for many of Australia's major performing arts companies. From 2006-2018 Tomasetti was the official International photographer for "The Australian Ballet", touring to New York, Tokyo, Paris, Beijing, San Francisco.
