Originally from South India, I spent my developmental years in Qatar and still reside here. I studied art in New Zealand and Vancouver, with the intention of becoming a creature concept artist. That dream was inspired by my love of animals and playing with unique color palettes to create otherworldly concepts. I constantly find myself translating those skills into canvases because I’m committed to immersing people in what I’ve imagined and allowing it a moment of contemplation rather than my ideas getting lost in large projects like video games and animations. Stepping back to appreciate every detail in mediums that allow such high levels of creativity have drawn me to a much slower and quieter experience of consuming and creating art.
