Lynda Browne is a Caribbean/UK-based lens-based artist whose practice uses staged self-portraiture to examine identity as an embodied negotiation shaped by inheritance, social performance, and internalised constraint. Her work treats the body as both archive and site of resistance, exploring how history, pressure, and endurance are carried, concealed, and continually re-formed through gesture and symbolic form.
