Marwa Mahmoud-Galal Osman is an Egyptian artist, designer, and Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Art & Design, Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST). She holds a PhD in Applied Arts from Helwan University, specializing in textile printing design.
Her artistic practice explores the relationship between cultural heritage, identity, and contemporary visual expression, with a focus on textile-printed hangings, Islamic art, Arabic calligraphy, Egyptian and Japanese visual symbols, and digital design. She has participated in several national and international art exhibitions and conferences, and her work connects traditional visual memory with modern artistic and design approaches.
