My work focuses on Gender, Identity and memory. Being brought up in a Matriarchal Anglo Irish house automatically created a distance and the sense of other from an early age. Women, ancestral or contemporary are central to the work, with backdrops of aged wallpaper and symbolic references play their part in creating an often uneasy image.
