Russian born, Natalia lives and works in Vancouver, BC. Exhibiting professionally since her 1995 graduation from the Stroganoff Academy of Art in Moscow, she was qualified with Master of Art Criticism and as a Designer. A journey through Asia as part of a geological expedition satisfied her longing for inspiration, and with a head full of fresh ideas and a sense of wonderment, she relocated to Vancouver. Educated in a Russian traditional school, Natalia got an inspiration from Russian Icons, full of colours, gold and flat, conventional outline. Now her works are a fusion of classical tradition and Western art concepts
