Nature. Depth. Balance.
My painting emerges from the forces of nature. Its chromatic tensions, transitions, and organic rhythms form the basis of a gestural, expressive visual language. In dense, multilayered applications of paint, condensed structures evolve in which both calm and energy unfold.
Although abstract, my works open up pictorial spaces with a palpable sense of depth. Layer by layer, zones of transparency and density develop, allowing the viewer’s gaze to move—spaces between tension and balance, movement and stillness.
I understand color as an active force. It carries intensity, resonance, and physical presence. The process of painting, applying, layering, revealing, is a physical experience that inscribes itself into the work and extends to the viewer.
My artistic practice is informed by my study as a Diplom-Ingenieur in Textile and Applied Design, where material awareness and visual thinking became closely interconnected.
My works invite the viewer to experience painting as a sensory, material presence, in contrast to the fleeting nature of digital images.
My work has been presented internationally in museums, art associations,art fairs and exhibitions.
