Stefania Catastini (Mercurio S17S71) (1971) is an Italian artist and architect. After graduating in Architecture in Florence, she developed a practice merging matter, body, and transformation. Since 2016 she works exclusively with discarded leather, creating organic forms and faces suspended between human and non-human. Her work explores material as a sensory threshold between visible and invisible. She has exhibited in Rome, Milan, Venice, Caserta, and Florence.
