Born in England, Stephen is a contemporary abstract artist living in Canada. Taught to paint by his Aunt, and later mentored by Geoffrey Grant (UK). Stephen has a synesthetic approach to colour and form and his paintings are inherently introspective, offering a subjective rendering of the self’s most private feelings, as expressionistic and non-objective representations of pure emotion within the canvas. Stephen exhibited 'Passion Ascending' at the 2025 International London (UK) Art Biennale. His most recent work 'I Used to Dream in Colour...' will be exhibited at this years Chianciano (Italy) International Biennale. More about Stephen and his art (including a Curatorial Review) can be found on his personal website:-
