I am a New Zealand Wildlife and Nature Artist. Working in acrylic or pastel, often combined with mixed media, I strive to imbue a softness and delicacy that lends itself to the themes I paint. Juxtaposing highly detailed with touches of abstract; suffused in vibrant natural palettes. An attempt to create visceral works that are both poignant and uplifting. Capturing to the best of my ability, magic moments of the natural world -- that have a timeless sense of interconnectedness, fragility, resilience, magnificence and wonder.
