Artwork Description: Social Masks is a series of paintings on discarded luxury packaging collected in Barcelona. I return to these surfaces because they already carry a language of desire, aspiration, recognition and belonging. The portraits are fractured, edited and partially obscured, as if something in them is still being negotiated. I am not interested in…
Artwork Description: PROJECT EDEN DESCRIPTION In the promised paradise, nothing is ever what it seems. Project Eden is the result of an experiment that began in silence, in a place forgotten by the world. Eden was never a place — it was a project. The perfect exterior was designed to surpass all expectations. The interior…
Additional Artwork Images: Artwork Description: Rappresentazione pittorica dell’esperienza delle mie passeggiate nelle Foreste Sacre di Sant’Antonio, in Toscana.
Additional Artwork Images: Artwork Description: As my brushstrokes created forms, I saw sketches of life emerging from the black void, like sparkling apparitions in the dark night — a beginning of light, a grace, a hope — and I thought of nature, which is always cyclically reborn. Artwork Description: This work is based on contrasts such as consumption and sustainability, fragility and strength, lightness and weight. Playful, inflated forms balance between innocence and seriousness, while also referring to life and impermanence. The work connects Pop Art influences with traditional marble sculpture, in which craftsmanship and technical skill are central. Instagram: sculptor_deruysscher Width:…
Artwork Description: The marble sculpture “Pending” explores the (in)presence of the human being. Alongside its trompe-l’œil effect, it presents a sculptural metamorphosis of folds, where traces and memory are suspended in a timeless form. In this way, imagination and image merge into one unified presence. Width: 18 Height: 99 Depth: 11 Artwork year of completion:…
Artwork Description: “Mi conosco abbastanza. Ennio Flaiano. Da qui traggo ispirazione per l’opera. Sulla tela bianca, strisce traslucide…
