Artwork Description: Woodcut, rust, and collagraph on Hahnemühle paper with an oak frame. My recent body of work, The Horse / Al Hisan, develops from a convergence of personal loss and collective catastrophe following the events of 7 October 2023. The project unfolds through tensions between the constructed and the uncontrollable, and between presence and…
Artwork Description: The painting treats decay not as an expressive gesture, but as a state of matter under observation. Red traces appear on the surface like a record of a biological process: point-like changes, clusters, discolorations and reactions taking place within the form. The figure is reduced to a condition of the body — a…
Artwork Description: My work explores the systemic tension between rigid institutional structures and the unyielding desire for organic, personal freedom. In Escape from Corporate Chains, a vibrant and fluid seascape is hemmed in by a heavy, concrete-like relief crust. Embedded within this cold, industrial border are diamonds—symbols of the superficial wealth, status, and gilded traps…

Artwork Description: I think a suitable subtitle for this painting could be “Reflections in a troubled world”. In the current climate, it is exciting to see how all the political unrest and changes in established habits will end. Am I pessimistic about the near future? Yes, absolutely! We have a bunch of politicians (now topped…
Artwork Description: A historical term from the 16th century served as inspiration for this figure: “spintisieren”, which describes fruitless brooding and dwelling on misguided thoughts. The heaviness of thought is symbolized by the horns, which threaten to burst the head and, despite being laced up, continue to grow, twisting around themselves instead of protecting the…
Artwork Description: “Der Macher” A persons of boundless self-confidence, convinced that they can do anything and are entitled to do everything. They act in a dominant and loud manner, do not tolerate contradiction, and show no consideration. Their will is the standard, their ambition the driving force—a character whose word is law and whose actions…
