Inspired by the myth of Babel, this work reflects on the complexity of contemporary urban coexistence. A stylized architectural landscape rises through overlapping forms that never quite touch, suggesting latent connections rather than definitive separation. Beneath the formal balance lies a subtle tension that leaves room for encounter and exchange. Defined edges and soft tonalities express the search for a common language within diversity, inviting viewers to imagine future cities where difference becomes an opportunity for dialogue and shared transformation.
The work is created through a masking process using acrylics on canvas, requiring time, precision, and sustained concentration. Layers are applied gradually, with careful control of every edge and interval. Repetition and formal accuracy generate a quiet tension in which nothing is accidental and each decision contributes to the final balance of the composition.
