Artist Bio:
Adrian Matei is a visual artist whose practice explores the intersection of ancestral mysticism and the raw materiality of the present. Creator of a style based on the "undulition" concept, he proposes an aesthetic in which the rigid forms of industrial materials, such as mastic or OSB substrates, achieve fluidity and a sacred dimension.
His works are not merely objects of contemplation but kinetic experiences where light, captured and fragmented through mirrors, becomes a co-author of the piece. By utilizing universal symbolic elements, Adrian Matei invites the viewer on an initiatory journey toward the center of the self, transforming the exhibition space into a portal of light and reflection.
