Alena Rezanova is a metamodernist conceptual artist and digital retoucher based in Orlando, Florida. Born in Minsk, Belarus, she has lived in the United States since 2011.
Her background in advertising and product photography shaped her sensitivity to composition, light, and visual precision, which later evolved into a concept-driven artistic practice. Since 2023, she has focused on painting while integrating artificial intelligence as a research tool.
Her work explores the space between the digital and the physical, the imagined and the real, questioning perception, authorship, and the construction of meaning. She approaches art as an ongoing inquiry, grounded in the tension between opposites: control and intuition, structure and fluidity, timelessness and technological transformation.
Alena Rezanova participated in Personal Structures, the official collateral event of the 2026 Venice Biennale, with the group project Crosslines: Unlocked Identities, curated by Julia Sysalova. She also participated in EDEN.EXE Perspective during 48 Stunden Neukölln, Berlin's largest independent contemporary art festival, where her work was presented as part of the video art project CODE ERROR, also curated by Julia Sysalova.
She was awarded Best Conceptual Artist of the Year by Art Estate Magazine. Her works have been featured on Artsy and are held in private collections internationally.
Her practice positions art as a space of encounter rather than representation, inviting the viewer to reconstruct their relationship with reality.
