My name is Alexander Lowe, and I have been an abstract expressionist artist for 15 years. I am self taught and I work with oils, and acrylics. I am 57 years old, and I am also a professional singer songwriter, and a published poet, here in the UK. I live here in the small fishing village, of Sandhaven, in the North of Scotland. In my 15 years of painting, I have sold over 100 works. I was diagnosed with cancer in 2013 and I managed to win the battle, along with kidney failure from the cancer treatment.
