Ireland, 1977
Andrii Trushkevych was born in 1977. He started drawing in early childhood. At the age of 10 he entered art school in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. 5 years later after finishing this school Andrii entered the Kosiv Institute (now College) of Applied and Decorative Arts where he specialized
in Fine Arts and Leather Craft. During and after his study he took part in local exhibitions where he exhibited his paintings (water colours and oil paintings) and leather works.
After graduation, Andrii was working in the field of arts, with such diverse media as stone and leather. He also spent some time restoring historic building facades, and an even longer period working in interior design. In 2009 Andrii moved to Ireland where he continued his career as an artist. In October 2013 he had his first solo exhibition organized by Zozimus Gallery, Dublin, Ireland. After that Andrii participated in various art exhibitions.
