As a retired graphic designer and already in my late 60’s, I made the decision to use the digital tools I was familiar with to create art instead of spending years to learn to paint. This decision allowed for the production of finished artworks much earlier. However, it is important to be aware I do NOT use Ai. Although digital, the origin of many of my works is multimedia: trees, plastics, glass and others which are digitally input and manipulated to create and produce finished art. In some cases, it takes a few years to complete the finished pieces. I am submitting two works which are very different from each other but both endured a long journey to fruition.
