Yang Chao is a Chinese painter working primarily with acrylic and oil. His ongoing “Mr. Tree” series (2019–) explores the boundaries of natural vitality through the imagery of trees, examining growth, decay, and the tension between energy and permanence. His work reflects a quiet, introspective approach to existence and perception. He has held solo exhibitions at Wuxi Art Museum and Shiyuan, and participated in exhibitions in Shanghai, London, Melbourne, and across China.
