Chinze Ojobo is an award-winning international artist recognized for her textured, vibrant mixed-media works that fuse African heritage with contemporary expression. She studied Fine and Applied Arts at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, under masters such as El Anatsui and Obiora Udechukwu, and later did Interior Design in Atlanta, Georgia. Her practice spans acrylic on canvas, wooden sculptures, and jute, often enriched with Uli motifs and layered symbolism. More recently, she pioneered a new medium she calls “Ute-Osisi”, expanding the expressive possibilities of African contemporary art. Over the past two decades, Chinze has exhibited in more than 70 show I s worldwide, including the New York Art Expo, Bonhams Art Auction (London), Chalkwell Auctions (UK), Paris, Bulgaria, Hollywood, and across Africa. In 2018, she was honored with the African Achievers Award in Art at the House of Commons, London. She now lives and works in the United Kingdom, having relocated on a Global Talent Visa.
