Francesco Spina (b. 1986) lives and works in Rome. An art historian at the Ministry of Culture, he is the author of several scholarly studies ranging from iconography to the history of modern art.
As an artist, he is self-taught: he weaves ancient symbols and iconography into classical figurative art, reinterpreting them in a contemporary key. He exhibited at the Chianciano Biennale with the painting “In memoriam,” which received an award from the International Confederation of Art Critics.
