Julia Goska is a Polish textile artist, researcher, and PhD candidate at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Her artistic practice explores the intersections of textile art, architecture, biomimicry, and posthumanist thought through experimental free-motion embroidery and spatial textile structures. Inspired by organic growth systems, she creates sculptural forms in which thread becomes an autonomous architectural medium. Following posthumanist perspectives, her works challenge anthropocentric narratives and emphasize the agency of nature as an active co-creator rather than a passive source of inspiration. Her works have been exhibited in Poland and internationally, including France, Slovakia, and Romania.
