I am a self taught artist from Buffalo, New York and have been painting since the age of five. I have shown nationally in the U. S. and internationally on five continents and have been recognized with awards at the London and Buenas Aires Biennials. My work was recently on display at a major five tour in Brasil entitled Ancestral Afro Americas and exhibition featuring 70 major artists from Brasil and the U. S.. My recent retrospective “Living in Color” at the Burchfield Penney Art Cenre in Buffalo NY was exceptionally well received, receiving local and statewide recognition. My work is self coined as “Electric Primitive “ due to my use of bold colors and whimsical themes.
