Italy, 1962
A painter and sculptor, in over 30 years of artistic research he has used
various techniques and materials in an attempt to express the spiritual and
mysterious dimension inherent in human beings.
In the early 1990s, he began painting with a particular passion
for the color blue, first with oil paints, then acrylics, and finally with inks, pigments
and resins. Since 2005, his artistic research has also focused on light,
transparency, and experimentation with other materials: Murano glass, ceramics,
and especially Plexiglas, with which he also creates sculptures and installations.
Many of his works are inspired by music:
in 2025, he began a series of works dedicated to classical music and especially rock,
in which colors synesthetically become notes and chords from musical instruments.
He has exhibited his works in over one hundred solo exhibitions in Italy and has participated
in artistic events abroad in more than twenty countries.
He collaborates regularly with galleries throughout Italy and also in the USA, France,
Romania, and Lebanon.
Winner of the Saccisica Biennale as a painter and of the first edition of the Biennale
Di Asolo as a sculptor, in 2025 he won the Vanvitelli Prize at the Royal Palace of
Caserta.
He has participated in collateral events of the Venice Art Biennale and the Venice
Architecture Biennale.
He participated in the 61st Venice Art Biennale – Guinea Pavilion in 2026.
One of his artworks, featuring a drop of water embedded in plexiglass, entitled
"Water on the Moon," was selected for the Moon Gallery, along with works by artists from
all over the world who have already orbited the Earth in the International
Space Station and will then be installed in the permanent human base on the Moon.
